
Social Worker (MSW) Per Diem, Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center, NJ

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Social Worker (MSW) for Case Management at Newton Medical Center to work 8AM-4:30PM including one weekend every four weeks.
Responsibilities
Discharge planning from an acute care hospital.
Supportive and therapeutic counseling.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: MSW and Active LSW from NJ.
Minimum Experience: 1-year medical setting (acute care hospital) or 1 year externship.
Candidates must be available to commit to 2–3 days per week during the first 4–6 weeks to ensure a thorough onboarding process. This role also requires working every other weekend. Departmental hours are 8:00 AM‑4:00 PM, with some flexibility. As a seven‑day‑a‑week department, per diem positions do include weekend coverage.
