SEKISUI Aerospace is currently hiring production team members in a variety of departments for our Orange City, IA location, including layup, assembly, machining, and finishing.

Full Time, Non‑Exempt
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Thursday
Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Position:
As a paint operator you will be responsible for painting, sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting.
Composite Technician Responsibilities include:
Painting parts to customer specifications
Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and area
Sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting
Masking of non‑painted surfaces
Paint mixing
Operating automated downdraft spray booth, paint application equipment and fresh air systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of applying adhesives, fillers and primers
Familiar with mixing ratios
Ability to use basic paint prep tools, including sanders
Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications
Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent hand dexterity and coordination
Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
