Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Private Pay Biller to support their business office team by managing resident billing, maintaining accurate account balances, and ensuring timely payment collection. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and delivering clear communication to patients and families regarding their financial responsibilities.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in private pay or self-pay collections within healthcare
Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations
Ability to communicate financial information clearly and professionally
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and review monthly billing statements to identify outstanding balances
Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate payment arrangements with patients or responsible parties
Communicate clearly with residents and families regarding billing questions and out-of-pocket costs
Submit Medicaid claims accurately and in a timely manner
Monitor account balances and work to reduce aged receivables
