Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist within a skilled nursing setting.
Implement and modify treatment plans based on PT direction, including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
Assist with gait training, ROM, strengthening, balance activities, and functional mobility tasks.
Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate patient status and any changes to the supervising PT.
Prepare treatment spaces, set up equipment, and maintain clean, safe, and organized therapy environments.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, nursing, OT, and other staff) to support patient goals and care plans.
Educate patients and families on prescribed exercises and activity strategies to support ongoing progress.
Requirements
Availability for a 13‑week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026.
Willingness to work a 5x8 day shift (08:00–16:30) with guaranteed hours.
Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility setting and within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the assignment and report to the facility as scheduled.
