
Workforce Research Analyst

Job Overview
Provide services and support as a Workforce Research Analyst in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as the National Science Foundation. The role is located in Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) and across the Mid Atlantic Region. The Analyst will deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation; enhance data‑driven decision‑making using advanced analytics and business intelligence; support regulatory compliance and federal human capital management policies; facilitate integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools; and optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support and enhance human capital analytics capabilities using agency‑standard analytics platforms (e.g., Oracle Analytics Server with Tableau). Conduct workforce research, program evaluations, and compliance assessments aligned with OPM HRStat and the GPRA Modernization Act. Deliver research summaries, issue papers, comparison tables, annotated findings, and draft talking points for leadership review. Gather, clean, and analyze data; support interviews and research tasks; prepare briefing materials, research summaries, and decision‑support analyses. Provide accurate documentation, insights, dashboards, or compliance evidence to support NSF decision‑making.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in workforce research, policy analysis, HR analytics, or related federal support functions. Experience producing research summaries, issue papers, and analytic memoranda preferred.
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, business, sociology, human resources, analytics, or related field required. 4+ years of experience in workforce research, policy analysis, HR analytics, or related federal support functions.
