JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Data Privacy Specialist for Data Governance & Privacy, focusing on Human Capital solutions for clients such as the National Science Foundation. The role is based in the Mid‑Atlantic region, primarily Alexandria, VA, and operates on a hybrid schedule.

Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation; enhance data‑driven decision‑making with role‑based advanced analytics; support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human‑capital policies; facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools; optimise service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and service level agreements (SLAs).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, digital transformation, and process automation for federal agencies.

Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using advanced analytics and business intelligence.

Ensure compliance with federal data policies, privacy safeguards, and records‑management regulations.

Implement privacy controls and enforce safeguards to comply with federal privacy laws.

Provide specialised functional support for Data Governance & Privacy, including analysis, documentation, and adoption activities to improve delivery quality and mission outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Policy, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience in privacy, data governance or a related domain.

Knowledge of federal privacy laws and regulations (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA, GDPR).

Experience with digital transformation initiatives and process automation.

Familiarity with business‑process mapping and performance‑based outcomes.

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Word) and data‑analytic tools such as Visio and Adobe Acrobat.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and time‑management skills.

Attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑moving environment.
