Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations for residents in a skilled nursing setting and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapies such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility training, and manual therapy as appropriate
Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, document outcomes in the resident’s chart, and assist with discharge planning
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in care conferences, and communicate progress with families or guardians
Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance during therapy sessions; maintain accurate, timely documentation
Requirements
Active Maryland physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program
Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting on a 13-week travel assignment; 35 hours per week guaranteed
Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient in documentation and clinical collaboration
Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignment
