About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational growth of the business. The successful candidate will be more than just a finance leader; they will be a key partner to the CEO, driving the professionalization of the finance function, and leading efforts to enhance reporting, forecasting, and cash management. This is a hands-on role with a focus on M&A support, and the ideal CFO will have a strong background in a PE-backed, project-based services environment, with a proven track record in financial leadership, and a deep understanding of the operational side of the business.
The CFO will be responsible for building a high-performing finance team, improving financial visibility, and supporting the company's growth through both organic means and acquisitions. Success in this position is defined by the ability to influence and execute financial strategy, improve the company's financial health, and ultimately, prepare the business for a successful exit. The role requires a candidate with a strong operational track record, full P&L responsibility, and experience in managing debt, banking relationships, and cash constraints. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the confidence to challenge and a collaborative approach to decision-making. Experience in PE-standard reporting, and M&A, and a background in services, design-led, or construction-adjacent environments are highly valued.
