About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership during a transitional period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit coordination. This role involves monitoring the organization's financial health, liquidity, and interest rate risk, as well as ensuring timely and accurate regulatory and financial reporting in compliance with state and federal banking requirements. The Interim CFO will also be expected to prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and analysis to executive leadership and the Board, and to partner with senior leadership on financial planning, cost controls, and strategic initiatives.
Applicants for the Interim Chief Financial Officer position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and a CPA certification. A minimum of 5 years' of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial leadership is required, with a strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and financial reporting requirements. The role demands an individual with a proven ability to operate effectively in an executive, hands-on leadership capacity, and who possesses excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills. The Interim CFO will also be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team, ensuring strong internal controls, and audit readiness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
