Senior Business Analyst (Remote | EST Hours)
6 month contract
Pay rate: $30-33/hr
We're seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst
to support a large-scale government technology initiative focused on modernizing critical public service systems. This role is fully remote and will work closely with crossfunctional teams to translate complex policy and operational needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
What You'll Do:
Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements across the full project lifecycle
Translate regulatory and operational needs into clear functional specifications and acceptance criteria
Support federal and state certification efforts by ensuring requirements align with compliance expectations
Track and manage changes, risks, issues, and defects while clearly communicating impacts
Contribute to project planning, estimation, and continuous process improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Strong experience in business and systems analysis within complex, multiprogram environments
Hands-on experience with requirements documentation and traceability
Familiarity with certification, compliance, and regulatory-driven projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor's degree required
Nice to Have:
Prior experience supporting government or public sector programs
Experience with large enterprise system implementations
