Coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin countries to final destinations, including documentation, compliance, carrier and broker communication, shipment tracking, and coordination of final‑mile delivery.
Responsibilities
Coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance.
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
Issue delivery orders and coordinate final‑mile delivery with trucking companies.
Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in the internal system.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Experience in ocean import operations or international freight forwarding (preferred).
English and Korean bilingual (preferred).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is between $45,000-$55,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
