What you will do
As a

Software Sales Intern , you will support the sales efforts for

SoftwareHouse , a Johnson Controls brand within the

ACVS (Access Control & Video Surveillance)

business. This role is focused on

selling and renewing software support agreements , working primarily with

existing customers and expiring agreements . The internship provides hands‑on exposure to software sales, customer lifecycle management, and commercial operations within a global technology organization.

How you will do it

Support the sales process for

software support agreements , including renewals and extensions

Assist with managing

existing and expiring customer agreements , ensuring accurate tracking and follow‑up

Partner with internal sales and account teams to help drive customer retention

Learn and communicate the value of

SoftwareHouse software solutions

within the ACVS portfolio

Maintain accurate customer and agreement data in internal systems

Assist with sales reporting, pipeline tracking, and basic data analysis

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Other sales support duties as assigned

Required qualifications

Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

Pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interest in software, technology, and sales

Comfortable working with data, systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred qualifications

Interest in B2B sales, software sales, or customer success

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset

Experience working in a team‑based or customer‑facing environment

HIRING HOURLY RANGE:

$20.00 - 24.00/hour
