Pay Range Information
Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.

Job Description Summary
The research assistant, under general supervision of the principal investigator (PI), will recruit participants; assist with data cleaning, verification, and management; and oversee undergraduate student research assistants (e.g., teaching them how to recruit and collect patient data).

Responsibilities

Assist with data collection, cleaning, verification, and management

Assist with recruiting, screening, and maintaining records on research participants.

Oversee and mentor research assistants to support training and research procedure

Collaborate with research team members to support ongoing research initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Strong organizational skills

Interest in working with clinical data

Strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience in psychology, health sciences, cognitive science, philosophy, neuroscience, computer science, or related field

0–2 years of prior research experience

Experience with statistical analysis
