Responsibilities
Prepare the cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and working condition, including instrument sterilization.
Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site entry, draping, arranging instruments, calibrating pressure transducers and tubing.
Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab; knowledge of all related equipment.
Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, digital, and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures.
Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting.
Must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification, and state licensing when required.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
