Twitter Testing Related Tweets Feature With Select Users

Earlier today we reported on news from Twitter that they typically release one experimental feature or tweak each day, usually to a very small subset of users, to “keep making the product better”.

One such feature has been seen in and around Twitter today. It’s called Related Tweets, and it could be coming to a screen near you.

Last month Twitter launched a Related Headlines feature, which displays the headlines of stories on websites where that tweet was embedded. Related Tweets is somewhat similar, showing tweets from other users that are covering similar content.

Log on to Twitter.com and load up the URL of a tweet to see if you have the update, which looks like this:

The Next Web has the scoop on this, and notes that it isn’t available to all users. Which includes me: all I see is the standard tweet.

What about you guys? Is Related Tweets showing up for you? Is it something you think has value? Hit the comments to let us know.
