Twitter Employee Salaries Revealed

How much could you make as a product manager at Twitter? Or as a copywriter? An engineer?

JobHintz.com has compiled the average salary range of all types of Twitter employees, including current job openings, so you can see how Twitter stacks up to other tech companies in the Valley.

So what types of jobs is Twitter advertising right now?

According to JobHintz general manager Carla Olson:

“Most of Twitter’s new requisitions are in software engineering, reliability and product management. A typical job, experienced Software Engineer, pays between $100,000 and $125,000 per year. This is quite comparable to industry standards.”

The data from JobHintz indicates that a typical product manager would make between $120,000 and $160,000 salary, and reliability engineers can expect to make up to $135,000.

Aside from engineers and members of the product team, Twitter is looking for a variety of uniquely qualified individuals to fill specialty roles.

For instance, they’re hiring data scientists to “analyze and build fraud detection systems into Twitter’s advertising platform”, with a salary range from $75,000 to $110,000. They’re also looking for a TV content manager “to help drive the next generation of great Twitter integrations on TV” with a salary range from $70,000 to $105,000.

Not only are the salaries in-line with industry standards, Twitter’s benefits and vacation packages are competitive:

At Twitter, employees have generous benefits, which include gym membership reimbursement, weekly in-office yoga and pilates classes and catered breakfast and lunch daily. The vacation policy is flexible and generous, and new moms and dads can count on paid maternity and paternity leaves.

Some of the best advice that JobHintz offers for anyone interested in applying to work for Twitter? Show an interest in the Twitter platform itself, not just skills in your area of expertise. And that means have a Twitter account (although it’s not mandatory, it will show that you “get” the platform).
