The Chronicle Gets BGov’s Dan Parks

The Chronicle of Philanthropy announced today the appointment of Dan Parks to the newly created role of Managing Editor. Parks most recently served as managing editor at Bloomberg Government. He has also worked in editing roles at Roll Call and Congressional Quarterly.

This makes the second high profile editor to leave the Bloomberg world in as many days. Yesterday, CQ Roll Call announced that they had hired Bloomberg News’ David Ellis -who had previously served as editor-at-large of their Washington bureau.

Parks will assume his role at The Chronicle of Philanthropy on Monday, March 17.
