Anderson Getting Overhauled, Will Look More Like Live! With Kelly (TVNewser)
Not only is Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show going live next season, it is also going Live. Broadcasting and Cable's ace syndication reporter Paige Albiniak reports that the show is getting a total overhaul, starting with the name which will now be Anderson Live. The end result: a show that sounds suspiciously like the former Live! with Regis & Kelly, for which Cooper was a regular fill-in.

Amazon Instant Video Comes to the iPad (AppNewser)
It's only been a day since Amazon upgraded its Cloud Music Player, and it looks like Amazon is continuing to ratchet up the pressure on Apple. Amazon has just released an instant video for the iPad. There's no iPhone version just yet, but the app is likely to please iPad owners. The app offers access to a catalog of over 120,000 videos, but those are the ones you can rent or buy.

AP Denies Dwindling Convention Coverage (FishbowlDC)
With newsroom budgets shrinking, so is the number of reporters who can attend the conventions. AP is planning a cut in convention staffing, down to what we're told is a roughly 50 percent decrease and 10 print staffers for both conventions. But AP Spokesman Paul Colford insists the assessment is untrue.
