Several Shot Near NYC's Empire State Building (TVSpy)
Shortly after 9 a.m. this morning, a shooting erupted near the Empire State Building in New York City. At least two people are confirmed dead. WABC was first to report the news at 9:16 a.m. Phil Lipof anchored the coverage, aided by traffic reporter Shannon Sohn, who was in the station's helicopter over the scene.

Romney, Obama Agree To Participate In Univision Forums (TVNewser)
The Committee for Presidential Debates might have said no, but the candidates have said "yes" to participating in a Univision forum for Hispanic issues. Produced in participation with Facebook, the forums will take place leading up to the election in November, and will be presented in both Spanish and English.
