As for the timing of the network special reports: NBC was up first at 10:45pm, with David Gregory and later Brian Williams anchoring and Chuck Todd at the White House. ABC News with George Stephanopoulos was next less then a minute later with Jake Tapper at the White House, and CBS News, with Russ Mitchell anchoring, went live about :30 after ABC with Chip Reid at the White House and Lara Logan and Bob Orr in the DC bureau.
