Go Inside Newsweek, as Iconic News Magazine Announces End to Print Edition
FishbowlNY reports that after 80 years, Newsweek is ending its print edition. December 31 will see the final Newsweek in print. In a note to staff, Newsweek/Daily Beast chief Tina Brown writes, “The inexorable move to an all-digital Newsweek comes with an unfortunate reality. Regrettably we anticipate staff reductions and the streamlining of our editorial and business operations both here in the United States and internationally.” FBNY has the full memo from Brown and CEO Baba Shetty, who joined the company just last month.
