MSNBC’s Ed Schultz in Hot Water Over Selectively Edited Rick Perry Clip

MSNBC host Ed Schultz is in hot water for selectively editing a clip of Texas Governor Rick Perry. Schultz showed a brief clip of Perry talking about a “black cloud” hanging over America, and went on to say matter-of-factly that the cloud was President Obama:

In its full context however, Perry made it clear that he was referring to debt and debt obligations, not President Obama. Schultz ended up apologizing after being called out on the clip:


“We did not present the full context of those statements, and we should’ve,” said Schultz on his program last night (see at 2:20 in the clip below).
