With the departure of Kevin Magee as EVP of Fox Business Network, FNC and FBN Chairman Roger Ailes is splitting the management duties with the promotion of two longtime executives, TVNewser has learned.
Bill Shine, (far left) currently EVP of programming for Fox News, has been promoted to senior EVP and takes on the additional programming role at FBN. Brian Jones, (near left) currently SVP at FBN, has been upped to EVP of news operations for the channel. Ailes remains the lead executive for both Fox News and Fox Business.
Shine is an 18-year veteran of Fox News, joining in 1996 as senior producer of “Hannity & Colmes.” Jones got his start as a producer in local news, joined Fox News in 1997, then moved on to jobs in politics and finance, before returning to Fox in 2003.
