CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson is interviewed on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” where she was asked about her investigative reports into the U.S. government.
She was also asked about the ongoing investigation into who surreptitiously accessed her computer while she was looking into the “Fast & Furious” story. In June, CBS announced that it had hired a cyber-security firm to help in the investigation. Attkisson said at the time that “I think I know” who or what was responsible for the incident.
On C-SPAN, Attkisson said that “we are progressing with the investigation,” while declining to go into any more detail about who may be responsible. That said, some of her comments seem to imply someone related to the government may be involved.
