‘The Five’ Takes up Politico/MSNBC

“The Five” which continues to put up strong numbers for Fox News — it was the most watched cable news show Friday in A25-54 viewers — chatted up the Daily Caller’s story on the supposed coziness of MSNBC and Politico pushing the point that Politico has, in the words of Eric Bolling “become a left-wing” site.

The panel’s resident liberal Bob Beckel (sort-of) stood up for Politico, “You can argue the Huffington Post is way to the left. But Politico, in terms of their straight reporting, is pretty good. Their editorial is more liberal. No question about that.”

Beckel wrapped up the segment taking a shot at CNN’s upcoming new morning show. “By the way, I understand one of the other cable news networks is going to try to follow ‘The Five’ and have a morning talk show like this. Good luck!”
