in the appliance and HVAC space that is expanding rapidly across the Midwest. They are seeking an experienced
Controller
to join their team in
New Baltimore, MI
and help scale the financial foundation of the business.
If you’re a hands-on accounting professional who wants ownership, modern systems, and compensation tied to performance, this is a standout opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Own all day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple entities
Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts
Manage AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and bank/credit card reconciliations
Handle sales tax, compliance, and governmental reporting
Lead annual budgeting and financial planning
Partner directly with ownership and the CFO to support growth initiatives
You’ll receive
side-by-side training for approximately six months
from the current Controller during the transition.
What We’re Looking For
5–7+ years of accounting experience with controller-level responsibilities
Strong, hands-on background in AP, AR, payroll, and GL
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Exposure to intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow long-term
