
Global Accounts Payable Manager

Opportunity
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Professional to lead our AP operations from our San Jose headquarters. We need a systems-savvy leader who has mastered the complexities of international entities and multi-currency transactions.
The ideal candidate is a power user of NetSuite and Coupa who can bridge the gap between procurement technology and financial accuracy. You will oversee the full-cycle AP process while mentoring a team and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Global AP Management: Oversee full-cycle AP for domestic and international subsidiaries, ensuring accurate multi-currency recording.
Vendor and Cash Management: Oversee the invoice-to-pay process, maintain vendor relationships, and manage high-volume, multi-currency payment runs (ACH, wires).
Compliance and Control: Manage international tax requirements, including VAT, GST, and 1099 reporting. Ensure all global payments comply with local banking regulations and internal SOX controls.
Systems Optimization: Lead implementation and improvement of AP automation tools, ERP systems, etc.
System Administration: Act as the functional lead for Coupa (P2P) and NetSuite (ERP), managing the integration between the two and troubleshooting sync errors.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor AP staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
Process Optimization: Continuously audit the "Procure-to-Pay" workflow to eliminate bottlenecks, improve Coupa adoption, and enhance reporting visibility.
Vendor Relations: Serve as the escalation point for high-priority global vendors and internal department heads regarding payment status and dispute resolution.
What You Will Bring
5+ years of progressive AP experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Proficiency in NetSuite, Coupa, and Excel.
Proven experience managing international payables, multi-currency, and global tax (VAT/GST).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
Must be able to work on site in San Jose.
