Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to pediatric and other patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities as prescribed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Collaborate with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuity of care.
Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) or equivalent
NBRC-RRT certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) may be required in some areas
Shift: 12 hours, nights; 36 hours per week; Travel assignment duration typically 13 weeks
Notes: Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. This is a travel position in Omaha, NE.
