TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Roanoke, Virginia.
Job Summary
Travel stay: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines.
Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; report malfunctions.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Requirements
1 year recent acute care experience.
NBRC certification.
ACLS and BLS certification; PALS and NRP may be required.
Proficient vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth) and ability to adjust focus.
Capable of standing, walking, bending, leaning, or stooping for extended periods; able to lift 20–50 pounds.
Compensation
Pay based on 12‑hour shifts (36 hours per week), tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
