Salary Range:
$52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train shipping and receiving personnel.
Coordinate inbound material deliveries and outbound product shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for improved efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
Proficient in using ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and transaction processing.
Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
Strong understanding of shipping carriers, logistics, and supply chain processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) in a warehouse setting.
Certification in forklift operation and other material handling equipment.
Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for inventory management.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior shipping/receiving personnel.
Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
