Salary Range:
$47,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Inspect, verify, and record incoming materials and finished goods against purchase orders or other documents.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations.
Load and unload trucks, manually or using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates.
Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficient workflow.
Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics departments to ensure timely movement of materials.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
Forklift certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
Proficient in using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
