Overview
A client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR & Payroll Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources and payroll operations. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential for growth and stability. The ideal candidate brings hands-on HR and payroll experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on time; review employee time records, adjustments, and deductions
Support HR operations including onboarding, employee records management, and HRIS updates
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and basic HR policies
Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, and employee changes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and documentation
Partner with HR and leadership on audits, reporting, and process improvements
Assist with special HR projects as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
2+ years of HR and payroll experience ideal
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
Comfortable working onsite in a fast-pace, collaborative environment
Proficient with HRIS and payroll systems
