Job Details
Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position in Dickinson, North Dakota for 13 weeks.
Hours: 36 per week, 12‑hour rotating shifts.
Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
Administer a range of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
Maintain patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for safe function and report malfunctions.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines.
Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
BLS, RRT, and ACLS certifications required.
CRT, 2‑year experience, PALS, and NRP may be required in some areas.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and handle patients up to 50 pounds when required.
Adequate vision, including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week with a tax‑free stipend (amount to be confirmed).
