Job Summary
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to serve in Mattoon, Illinois for a 13‑week assignment.
Position Details
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts)
Employment type: Travel
Pay: Based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines.
Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities.
Maintain patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; report malfunctions.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience.
Certification: NBRC; BLS required; ACLS required.
Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) may be required in some areas.
Physical capabilities: stand/walk for long periods, bend/lean/stoop, lift up to 20 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 50 lbs; adequate vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception).
