Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Job Overview
Travel period: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
Respond to emergent situations that may require Respiratory support.
Physical Demands
Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Lift up to 20 pounds easily; lifting of patients or equipment may require up to 50 pounds at times.
Possess specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
Qualifications
1 year of recent acute care experience.
NBRC-RRT certification and BLS, ACLS (PALS and NRP may be required in some areas).
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3 years of experience (or equivalent).
Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
Compensation
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
