SC boutique real estate and estate planning firm

Salary: $95,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities

Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related instruments

Advise clients on estate, gift, generation‑skipping transfer (GST), and income tax planning strategies

Design and implement wealth transfer plans for high‑net‑worth individuals and families

Handle estate and trust administration matters, including probate proceedings and fiduciary guidance

Collaborate with attorneys in corporate, real estate, and tax practices on integrated planning matters

Communicate directly with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals

Stay current on changes in estate planning, tax laws, and regulatory developments

Contribute to business development, client retention, and firm marketing efforts as appropriate

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Active license and good standing with the [State] Bar

4+ years of experience in estate planning and trust administration

Strong knowledge of federal and state estate, gift, and income tax laws

Experience working with high‑net‑worth clients preferred

Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Experience

LL.M. in Taxation

Experience with advanced planning techniques (e.g., GRATs, SLATs, ILITs, charitable planning)

Exposure to business succession planning

Prior experience in a multi‑practice or full‑service law firm
