What’s on your radar for social media marketing in 2014?
Perhaps it’s online recruitment via social media. This was big in 2013 and should become bigger still this year – 94 percent of organisations use, or plan to use, social media to recruit job candidates.
How about mood-based ads? Apple has filed a patent for technology to target ads based on our moods, and Google’s recent acquisition of Nest is being seen by some as a way for the search giant to target customers via their offline behaviour, too, presenting relevant ads when they come back online.
Finally, Twitter’s new tailored audiences advertising feature allows brands to utilise user IDs and their existing email marketing lists to directly target Twitter users with relevant content.
