If you’re looking to drive engagement on Twitter, Facebook or any other social media channel – particularly if you’re a business to business marketer – it’s vital that you don’t commit any of the deadly sins.
For example, gluttony. Don’t over-indulge by sharing too much on your social channels. Don’t give in to lust and chase endlessly after followers (even if it’s the main metric measured by 96 percent of B2B marketers), and avoid being too greedy by over-sharing your own self-promotional content.
Don’t be a sloth – social media is a 24/7 business – and be careful not to lose your head: 43 percent of organisations have lost a customer due to a negative experience on social media.
