What if I told you that 72 percent are more likely to watch a TV show after engaging with its social media page or second screen app? And when you consider that Americans spend at least 34 hours per week in front of a TV set, and that 51 percent of socially savvy viewers use social networks to connect with others whilst watching the same show, well, you do the (marketing) math.
