It was the best of times, it was the worst of times this week at About.com and The National Enquirer, respectively. Call it a tale of two offices. One can almost imagine About.com employees treating yesterday's announcement that they had been bought by The New York Times Co. as the liberation of Paris. They're moving to much greener pastures as Times employees (dollar bill green, in case you were wondering) after four years spent in the galleys of cost-cutting-to-the-marrow Primedia.
