How long have you been at Ballantine? I was actually hired at Random House (“little Random”) four years ago and then when Random House and Ballantine merged a couple years ago I began acquiring for both imprints. I also work with and assist Melody Guy, who is the head of the multi-cultural and African American imprint One World, at Ballantine.
How long have you been in publishing? Since I moved to New York from Paris in 1999 — so, about 7 years.
