Job Ad Snares Voice Editor. How Long Will He Last?

David Blum is the new, long-awaited editor-in-chief of the Village Voice. But will he still have the job tomorrow? The last person to hold the job was Washington City Paper editor Erik Wemple. He didn't last a week before taking back his old job. Blum's hiring will become effective on September 12, although he's already met with the paper's staff.
