Stars Trade Spots at SI and ESPN

Like Yankees pitchers Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson -- who famously swapped wives, and lives, in 1973 -- Dan Patrick and Rick Reilly have swapped their sports media existences. Patrick, who rose to fame at ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor, signed a deal with Sports Illustrated last week as a columnist and senior writer. The other shoe dropped a day later, when Rick Reilly -- SI's star back-page columnist -- announced he was leaving for ESPN, where he will no doubt become a TV "personality."
