Newsweek's creating the RD news this week: Rick Smith, the publication's longtime editor-in-chief and chief executive officer of Newsweek Inc., announced on Tuesday he was stepping down from those positions, although he'll stay on as chairman. In the shakeup the followed, former Nickelodeon GM Thomas E.
