It Was Inevitable. British Psychic Tweets to the Dead
First, one could pray through Twitter. Now, it seems that one can tweet to the dead. At least so British psychic Jayne Wallace would have you believe. Conducting what she called a "Tweance," Wallace "contacted" the spirits of Michael Jackson, Kurt Cobain and River Phoenix via the San Francisco-based company. Some of Wallace's revelations, as reported in the Telegraph of London (clearly delivered with a healthy dose of skepticism, including placing Wallace's title, "psychic," in quotation marks): It was, of course, part of a promotion for a store that sold Halloween costumes. That didn't much matter to the Telegraph's cross-town rival, the Sun, which in a giant headline bleated, "Tweance Talks to Jacko 'Spirit'. " It described the event as a "full paranormal chat," and an "incredible session." The Sun billed itself as having organized the session, although the Telegraph pointed out that it was also a promotion for a costume store in advance of Halloween. Email This Post |
