Carl Jung, meet Jack Dorsey.

As part of an exhibition celebrating the famed analyst's until-now-unpublished Red Book, Twitter co-founder Dorsey was analyzed onstage Monday by a Jungian analyst. Free association and the like.

The connection, points out The Wall Street Journal, is clear: "As his site asks its users, Mr. Dorsey is interested in what people are doing right now. Mr. Jung, with his theories of individuation and the collective unconscious, wanted to know who, exactly, they were."

The Journal went on to do some free association of its own with Dorsey after the event, asking his impressions about words like "Google," "Facebook" and "monetization."
