Fulltime staffers and freelancers gathered at Press Box Grill in downtown Dallas to meet, greet, and drink at the first all-media mediabistro.com happy hour of 2006. The ridiculously warm "winter" weather inspired many to get out, including a couple who drove all the way in from Tyler, Texas — that's 100 miles away! — to join the fun. We were glad to see some old friends, including many from the staff at D Magazine, as well as new faces: freelancer Cheryl Collett brought her new baby, Riley.
