Little-known fact: Minneapolis has a high concentration of magazines and other media. Better-known fact: mb had its first-ever All-Media event in the Twin Cities, hosted by Anna Otieno and mb's own Alison Mitchell. A crowd of 75 came out to Babalu in the warehouse district, which generously supplied a mini-buffet that included crispy patatas bravas and spicy pinchos morunos, which guests washed down with happy-hour drink specials. Soon-to-be-known fact: The Minneapolis media's full of night owls, as several guests stayed well past the mingling to listen to live Afro-Cuban Jazz with Joto.
