It was a steamy but pleasant evening on July 26 when a slew of writerly types converged on Portland's PGE Park beer garden to take in some brews and a Beavers baseball game. Not sure how much actual watching-of-the-game took place, but there was media chit-chat and musings over the quickly-fleeting summer. Toss in the fact that no one was clocked by a foul ball and you've got yourself a successful media outing!
