The clouds parted and the sun came out to preside over the final mediabistro.com cocktail party of the season. It was the perfect way to end a high-energy series of parties. Publicists, filmmakers, reporters, editors, publishers, authors, and media entrepreneurs turned out for a spectacular evening at the Fish Club by Todd English at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. The private courtyard brimmed with media scuttlebut and exciting plans for the summer. Seattle is a feast-or-famine media environment and most folks seemed to be feasting, as much of the night's conversation revolved around balancing an endless workload with some time to sneak away when the weather's nice. The temperature hovered around 75, and the crowd of about 100 watched as the sun set on a terrific year of mb gatherings here. See you in August!
